Where to find the best deals.March 16, 2017
It is always such a winning feeling to find a great deal. I don’t know if it’s my dutch genes, but I am always on the hunt for a bargain and nothing beats the feeling when you land a sweet deal. Sometimes, however, finding the best deal is hard work – it takes time and effort. We are saturated with endless information and deals that are thrown in our face. But by doing the groundwork and researching, this really pay off in the long run and saves your, your hard earned cash. Our last blog was about keeping your finances on track and how to set goals and stick to them. In this blog post, we will be dealing with the more practical ways to help you save money. I have made a list of “deal finders” they are websites that can help you find the best deal.
Credit Card – If you have a credit card or if you are looking at applying for a credit card, check out WalletMe – www.walletmate.co.nz or https://www.glimp.co.nz/credit-card. These are great websites that compare major credit card and personal loans providers to provide you with an unbiased comparison to ensure you find the best deal!
Phone plans – Check out WhistleOut – a useful site that not only compares plans but also compares mobile phones. WhistleOut helps you compare mobiles and their plans to ensure that you get the best deal. What I love about this tool is that it customises recommendations depending on the options you choose. Whether you need more data or more minutes, the recommendation will be tailored to suit you. https://www.whistleout.co.nz/
If you want to buy a phone or any electrical goods to check out https://pricespy.co.nz/ it compares the prices of the goods across all the major stores.
BroadBand – there are many websites out there which help you compare different plans. I found these two websites the easiest to use, with the range of providers displayed well.
Both Glimp and Broadband Compare are great tools to use to contrast different providers. Each site offers recommendations based upon preference settings you have chosen.
Power – it’s such a big expense, especially during the cooler seasons. It always good to compare your current provider with others. Both Power switch and SwitchMe are great tools to use to compare your current provider to the other providers, to ensure that you are getting the best deal. https://www.powerswitch.org.nz/
There are many daily deal websites that have some great bargains for you to snatch up. The deals can be anything from dental treatment to dinners out, to maintenance for your car. If you are unsure about the company who is offering the deal, do some research about the company – a quick google search will quickly bring up reviews.
Some great website to look at:
Is there anything that you would add to the list? What are your top tips for saving, we would love to hear it. Just a quick disclaimer – I am in no way associated with these companies, I just think that they offer a really good service to help you find the best deal.
